The idea of this compilation is to make music from the Mamotreco YouTube channel www.youtube.com/c/mamotreco available for purchase for a low price of $2.20 (around 2€) or more, if you are so inclined. This is a convenient way to get some great music coming at you from leftfield AND support my music making and YouTube content.

More tracks will be added in due course, however the price will remain the same. Once you make the purchase, you should have access to all tracks added later. If that is not the case, please feel free to let me know and I'll figure out how to get you the tracks.

So far, the tracks on there represent a smattering of electronic and club music so to speak. From the reworked italo (haunted) house that opens up the compilation to the vocoder electropop groover of "No Man's Land".

In between, you get an anti-military discoid edit in the shape of "Just Directors" which samples the voice of a Falklands War veteran describing how army officers are just like corporate managers making disconnected decisions that perpetuate the carnage of regular people. On an equally menacing tip, there's "Disco Frisson" which takes a gnarly soundtrack disco loop and builds on it with rompler strings from the Roland JV-880 and other menacing sounds to create something with drama and groove that wouldn't necessarily be out of place as an interstitial track on an 80s anime.

Finally there's also Netcong Train Station, a richly melodic analog house track in honor of the forgotten train stations on the NJ Transit rail network. This track was co-written with the very talented Ghostape.
